Licenses
The Camunda BPM platform is a Java-based framework.
Community Edition
If you are using the community edition, the software is provided under various open source licenses (mainly Apache 2.0 and MIT). Which components are published under an open source license is clearly stated in the licensing header of a source file or a LICENSE file present in the root directory of the software source code repository.
Enterprise Edition
If you are using the Enterprise Platform, the software is provided under a license agreement containing restrictions on use and disclosure and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted in your license agreement or allowed by law, you may not use, copy, reproduce, translate, broadcast, modify, license, transmit, distribute, exhibit, perform, publish, or display any part, in any form, or by any means. Reverse engineering, disassembly, or decompilation of this software, unless required by law for interoperability, is prohibited.
Third-Party Libraries
The Camunda BPM platform (Community and Enterprise Edition) includes third-party libraries developed by third parties (please see the documentation section Third-Party Libraries)).
